It's OK to not to be OK

You know how I thought I wouldn’t make this blog about myself? Well, let’s just push that under the rug now, shall we?

So you’re getting the stories, but you’re not seeing doodles or even fashion updates. This is what I call “being confused”. I’m still trying to make sense of it, so it should clear up for me eventually. Yet, as readers, you’re probably wondering what this “crazy female” is upto.

Anyway, enough with the small talk. This post is about to get big!

This past week, I’ve had a lot of people talk to me about what they’re insecure about and things that are bothering them. I’ve noticed that I’m not the only one who’s been wandering around this same strange path that I have no clue where it ends. We all have problems and it’s very normal and people will even tell you that it’s reality (See, I’m rambling here). What I’m trying to say is, we’re just a bunch of dumb young adults that are bound to be crazy grandparents one day. Whatever it is you’re worrying about, like most people say, it’s not worth it. Let it go.. Call up a friend and be a little selfish. BE OPEN. You’re only human.

If you’re a whimsical, crazy and ranting art lover like me (and is perpetually saddened by reality) you’ll definitely love the Berlin – Art Parasites. I came across a post of theirs on Facebook today and it was SIMPLY CAPTIVATING!

It was a set of 50 random questions that I desperately wanted to answer for no particular reason. I guess this was me TRYING setting an example that it’s not worth to hold these unmanageable thoughts in the old noggin and also I'd like to mix things up a bit. YES! A bit of narcissistic pleasure, I'll agree, but I'd still encourage you to do the same for yourself :)

Something along the lines of “Meenakshi”

2: Do you miss anyone?

A lot of people.

3: What if I told you that you were pretty?

I’d smile and tell you to check your eyesight.

4: Ever been told “it’s not you, it’s me”?

I think in many occasions, I said it.

5: What are you looking forward to in the next week?

Something that keeps me busy.

6: Did you go out or stay in last night?

Stayed in, just like every night.

7: How late did you stay up last night?

Stayed up till about 3 am. #nightowl

8: Honestly, has anyone seen you in your underwear in the past 3 months?

I guess you could include my mother.

9: What were you doing at 12:30 this afternoon?

I was trying to call a friend.

10: Have you ever told somebody you loved them and not actually meant it?

Unfortunately, I have. Many times (mostly to the same person).

11: Could you go for the rest of your life without drinking alcohol?

A definite no.

From a celebrity view point..yes.

YES

There’s more than one.

Just as difficult as it is to get under someone. (ROSS..ROSS..ROSS)

PFFT…*scoff* -yes-

I think that exists in a woman by default.

My parents. *sigh*

Sadly, no.

Horrible at it.

I use too many.

My laptop (Yes, it is a humane object to me)

No. Oddly, I’m writing this in silence. That’s a first.

28: What is something you currently want right now?

A hug.

Yes. My mother is a very generous kiss-giver. (Cheek kisses count ok?)

Beating..faintly

ALWAYS

I’m known by a variety of embarrassing nicknames.

On so many occasions, yes.

35: Are there any stressful situations in your life?

Right now, existing is pretty much all the stress I have.

36: What are you listening to right now?

The hum of my laptop heating up.

37: What is wrong with you right now?

My sense of self respect, self confidence and self esteem.

38: Love really is a beautiful thing huh?

It’s the worst thing as well.

Every single time, but in vain.

Visible Veins, Skin and Pink pen marks

Not Applicable in my case.

Nope.

HA! no..

Coaxing a friend to put me to sleep through text.

Every single day..

Right now, alone.
